Anna Nalick.

Anna Nalick is our next blog! She was originally under Sony's label but ostensibly left due to 'arguments' over the second album - had she stuck with Sony, I can imagine she would have been a little more known that was she is now, but that doesn't deny her talents! She has had two albums. Her debut album, Wreck of the Day was released on April 19, 2005. Her new album "Broken Doll and Odds and Ends" was released on June 5. If you were to recognise Anna, it would probably be from this track...

The track above, Breathe (2AM), is described as her first radio hit, which is good, but it is her only track to have charted anywhere special, and that was only at 45th in the US charts unfortunately. Her other singles, including the one below, seemed to barely scrape the charts...

In The Rough, the music video above, is probably my favourite song of hers so it's a massive shame to see that it didn't do very well in the charts at all. With the right promotion, she could release this song in the UK and I bet it would be a hit because it certainly has the potential, as does Anna herself!

Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club

Bombay Bicycle Club are a four piece indie rock band from London, England. The group is made up of Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Suren de Saram and Ed Nash! The group changed line up regularly until the boys met Ed at a funeral- not the brightest of begins, but the group was never going to be your ordinary boyband- they're named after a string of Indian restaurants in London!

The group have released three studio albums, the most recent of which reached a peak of number six in the UK Albums Chart! The groups continued success relies heavily on album sales, but we don't think there's any reason to worry, as the Bombay Bicycle Club look to have a promising future ahead of them!

Nerina Pallot.

Nerina Pallot is next up for me today! I would say she is slightly more popular than the past couple of females I have written about in terms of success as she is a platinum selling, BRIT Award and Ivor Novello Award nominated British singer and songwriter! In fact, if you were to relate Nerina Pallot to any song, it would most likely be this one...

This song (shown above, 'Put Your Hands Up') is fantastic, but unfortunately failed to chart anywhere other than 18th in the UK airplay charts, which is a shame because she's a breath of fresh air with her music in my opinion! Let's take a look at her best-selling song in the UK...

This song, 'Everyone's Gone To War' managed to chart at 14th, which is good, but in my opinion, not nearly good enough for her talent! I would say that with the right promotion, Nerina Pallot could end up being known worldwide, well, I hope so, don't you?

PopLyfe

PopLyfe

PopLyfe are a teen-American band who shot to fame on Season 6 of America's Got Talent! The ages in the group are 13+! This may seem very young, but on the back of their pure courage and commitment, they reached 4th place on America's Got Talent!

The group is carried by Kehlani Parrish, who leads the group through high energy performances such as the above mash-up of I'll Be There/I Want You Back! Kehlani has gained comparisons with The X Factor USA contestant Rachel Crowe!

Let's hope PopLyfe remain together for the forseeable future!

Stooshe

Stooshe

Stooshe are a British girl group, based in London, United Kingdom! The group were formed in 2010, and are planning to release their debut album, Swings and Roundabouts later this year! The 'three-piece' is made up of Alexandra Buggs, Karis Anderson and Courtney Rumbold!

The above is the lead single from their debut album, which peaked at #5 in the UK Singles Chart! The 'real' lyrics have drawn comparisons to Lily Allen's truthfulness about sexual encounters in her own tracks!

If 'Love Me' isn't your cup of tea, perhaps you should listen to this acoustic cover of 'Lego House' by Ed Sheeran! The girls are being tipped as the next big girlband, and from these two tracks- we can definitely see why!

Charlie Simpson

A well-known face amongst those born in the 90's, Charlie has always been set for a solo career. When he was with Busted, he was belting out some of the biggest pop hits of the 90s, but has made a transition to authentic alternative rock frontman of band Fightstar. He plays a number of instrument, including guitar, piano and drums.

Charlie is launching his own solo career and is currently working on an acoustic album, which I think is definitely one to watch. In my opinion, he has always had the best voice of the Busted lads and whether you were a fan of them or not, Charlie should be on your list of people to check out.

Maverick Sabre

Now, it's time for our first request, Maverick Sabre. This was requested by @News4Cheryl on Twitter, so thank you for that!

This guy is an Irish-English singer-songwriter and rapper. That's a mouthful.

Sabre is known for his spooky vocals and guitar playing. His EP, Lost Words, was released in March 2011, prior to a collaboration with Professor Green, a similar artist. If you like Professor Green, you'll certainly want to check this guy out.

In February 2012, he continued to rise with the release of his debut album Lonely Are The Brave.

Take a listen to his song, I Need, here:
