Imelda May.

Imelda May is my next choice of female to write about, and I have to say she is one of my most-favourite artists ever - once you've listened to just one of her songs, you'll see what I'm talking about! She's an Irish musician (singer/songwriter) and has been very successful in Ireland, having her second and third album reach number one, which is impressive & deserved, just listen to Mayhem!

It's fantastic isn't it? Yes is the answer! She was mostly recognised after performing on the Jools Holland show (whom she then supported on tour). Imelda has also done a few covers, like most artists, and her performance of 'Tainted Love' is brilliant...

Love her as much as I do yet? I hope so, so go off and research her some more as that's what I'll be doing for the next half an hour. If you are a fan, let's just hope she manages to get further success in the United Kingdon and possibly the USA rather than solely Ireland (which is still brilliant of course). She's definitely one to watch!
