East Arbor 19 is a four piece indie rock band based in London, UK- headed by ex-EastEnders actor Tom Law! However, Tom is not the only band member with former 'celebrity status' - experienced drummer Elliot Andrews has worked with popular 'quirky girl' Kate Nash! The foursome is completed by bass player Daniel Logan and guitarist Dane Etteridge!
The above is their first original composition, inspired by the death of Amy Winehouse. The piece reflects upon other artists to join the '27 Club'. The song is a clever play on the 'curse' of 27- with lyrics expressing '27 years, and no way home'. This song has an edge to it, and displays great maturity for a debut recording!
The second original song is titled 'Ooh La La' and is moderately different from '27 Years'- the main influence in this song is being young and 'stopping out'. This song may be a little too 'raw' for the current charts, but with the right promotion this track would be a guaranteed smash! With the band ranging from their late teens to their early twenties, it is clear that this foursome have a great future ahead of them!
