Amanda Mair is next, and from her real name (Amanda Ulrika Magdalena Mair), I don't think it would come as too big of a shock if I were to tell you that she is indeed Swedish! She has just the one album, which has acquired a total of four albums. Speaking of her self-titled debut, the Washington Post wrote "The 16 (yes, 16)-year-old Mair sounds more like Kate Bush on her gorgeous, grown-up's debut track than Kate Bush herself", being compared to a young Kate Bush is quite something!
The song above, Sense, has got to be my favourite song of hers. It is brilliant, and I personally can definitely see that resemblance to Kate Bush the Washington Post was talking about. In fact, I'm not sure, maybe this is my favourite song by Amanda...
I cannot decide, they're both excellent! So, she had good success with her debut album in Sweden, by placing 16th in the Swedish charts, but we hope to see her fanbase spread a bit more across Europe (especially England) somewhat soon!
